We are chuffed to have a new illustrator and cartoonist on our work force. Terry; or Tez as he likes to be known has been commissioned as our very own cartoonist and he is drawing us some very unique and interesting images of ‘jack & jenny’ for our collection.

Tez has years of experience in cartooning and as an ex matelot himself, he understands jacks sense of humour and love of all things fun.

If you have an idea that you think might make a great tee shirt or other printed product and want Tez to sharpen his pencil set, send the idea over to us and we will whip him out of the bilges and get him to work; in the mean while why not order one of our new designs currently on our phone covers [here]

We have now introduced a range of shirts bearing the profiles of some of the ships of the fleet including Type21,42, LPD, Type22, Type12, Carriers and many more.

We will be adding to this range as the images become available from our newly appointed art and design technician ‘ANDY’

We often get asked to support or promote good causes and this week we received a email from Harry about his new book he wrote;

I served in the Royal Navy from 1972 - 2000 and on Her Majesty's Royal Yacht Britannia from 1985 - 97. I recently wrote a book about my time on Britannia, which is now for sale onboard and in their gift shop online. Being self published distribution is the hardest part. As this is a totally unique book (Rear Admirals Richard Hill Ret'd  words not mine)

This is the only book written by a Royal Yachtsman about life in the lower deck of Britannia. The book is being reviewed on amazon and Harry has asked us to assist him in getting it out there. Please email us for details on how to get a copy of the book.

Another book arriving our our desks this month is this great little number from Ian Ditch.

Laughing kitbags came about because so many people said that I should write a book when I left the Royal Navy about the funnier times. The times you do not get to read about in everyday newspapers! I, like so many others have many a `dit` to tell and I, like many others tell these stories over & over again. Why?, because they are hilarious but most of all, they represent the `hard play` which was expected after `hard work` which was paramount throughout the RN in the 70s and 80s. The `dits` have been written in a way as to have the reader hopefully feeling that he/she was there at the time. At most times throughout the book the content is of an adult nature, verging almost on explicit!! It is though written with passion and truth recounting priceless experiences.

One for everyone here, a new line of  NUMBER ONSIES is being created and will be available for order in mid june.

The number Onesie is the brain child of the lads of HMS DARING who are about to deploy and we are creating this garment for them initially but they will be available to all very soon.

Several sizes will be available in this design but if you cant wait for this one we do have a range of other onesies that can be either plain or embroidered with badges or motifs.

A range of colours are also available.
